Barielle Shades Slate of Affairs
4:29:00 PMToday I have a new-to-me brand, Barielle Shades. I have only tried one before, and wanted to try out some more! They were generous enough to let me pick a few polishes to try, and I am excited to show you my first choice.
This is Slate of Affairs, a gorgeous dark blue base with a flash of bright blue shimmer. I like the dusty quality that the base has because it makes the color just that much more unique. I also like the formula on this shade. It is thin, but easy to apply and control. I used 3 thin coats for these pictures.
Remember to click them for a closer look :D
So, for my first experience with Barielle Shades, I have to say I am very happy. The bottles are cute, I had no brush issues, and the formula was very nice. The best part, though, is that Slate of Affairs is just beautiful.
The only color I can think of that is similar to this is Jelly Jeans Queen. But on the nail, the Barielle pulls a touch more purple. So, I would rule these as not dupes. It is definitely good to have both :)
Have you tried Barielle Shades? Any favorites I should try?

I wonder if there are 2 versions of this. Mine is a really dusty, grey toned purple, a lot like Color Club's Shabby Drab but with shimmer. Weird. As far as Barielle shades to try, Myzra's Meadow, Falling Star, and Aura Angora are some of my faves : )
