Hey guys and gals! Today I have 3 beautiful summer shades by China Glaze for you. These were released as part of the Summer Neons collection, which you should still be able to find in beauty stores and online.
First, we have a lovely neon with shimmer called Hang-Ten Toes. Now, we have all seen hot pink neons done over and over again, but the strong shimmer in Hang-Ten Toes really makes it special. In fact, it kind of reminds of the shimmer that I love in China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise. Application on this was fine, but it did take 3 coats. Also, since it is a neon, it dries to a satiny matte finish. This swatch shows it with top coat, because that really brings out the gorgeous shimmah!

Next up is the first of two jellies, Ride the Waves. This blue jelly is totally unique to me! I do have Revlon Royal, which is a very well known and beautiful dark blue jelly. But Ride the Waves stands apart because of it's super bright blue color. And you know me, I love a good jelly. The finish is so squishy! This was 3 easy coats as well, though I do have a bit of bubbling in the photo.

Last, but not least, here's Under the Boardwalk. The Polishaholic seems to have discovered a second version of this jelly... Mine is the bright magenta version. This was the color that jumped out at me the least in the bottle, but boy, do I love it on the nail! First off, it applies like buttah. Absolutely perfect, it practically paints itself. The jelly finish is to die for. It is so juicy, so squishy... just your perfect jelly. I have fallen hard for Under the Boardwalk. It's amazing. 3 easy coats here!

So, there you have it! These three shades are new for Summer 2012 and should be available at your local beauty supply or easily found online. My personal favorite is Under the Boardwalk, but you simply can't go wrong when picking from these three!

So, this monster of a post has taken me quite awhile. There are 14 colors in the Salon Perfect line. Since it is a new line, I wanted to be sure to wear each one so I could report back on wear time. Lots of pretty colors, huh? I was impressed by the range of colors and finishes in the Salon Perfect line. There are your classic pinks and reds, but also some night brights like Lemon Zing and Kiwi Lime.
As far as application, most of these polishes were awesome! Spicy Tomato, Tangy Tangerine, Kiwi Lime, and Berry Blue all have a nice jelly crème finish. That was an unexpected surprise. While I love a jelly finish of any kind, it is important to note that most of those polishes do take 3 coats to reach opacity.
I did have some trouble with the formula on Lemon Zing and Lavender Icing. Both were quite think, but still look nice on the nail with no bubbles. You could always add a few drops of thinner if you prefer an easier application.
My favorites from the collection are...
• Plum Sorbet -- the shimmer and color itself are both super beautiful and attention-grabbing
• Kiwi Lime -- the jelly crème finish and unique shade are a great combination
• Perfectly Peach -- this polish gives my hands an instant tan
• Bubblegum -- this light pink looks vibrant and I love the juicy shimmer
So, there you have it! I hope you enjoyed all the pictures. Overall, I was impressed by Salon Perfect. I was not sure what to expect, but I really like many of these shades and finishes.

Here is another look I did with the new Salon Perfect line. At first, I was simply swatching the pink base, but then I felt like jazzing it up with lots and lots of dots. I used a bunch of different Salon Perfect shades and multiple sizes of dotting tools. To me, this look is just so fun and bright and perfect for summer.
