Aly Loves Lacquer

Hi, guys!

I was approached by a lovely rep for Mani Diaries, a new iPhone app that lets users share their manis and nail art. I love the idea of the app -- it's smart and seems like it'd be a great distraction from my homework ;) Here's a screencap of how the app looks! It's very clean and has tons of beautiful manis!

If you're interested, you can download it now from the Apple App store HERE.

Mani Diaries is also sponsoring a great giveaway that I thought you'd like to see! They are giving away an LVX Holiday Trio seen below!

Today I received some great news from Barielle, and wanted to share it with you!

Hey, all! I am having a giveaway to celebrate passing the 400 Follower mark! Thanks so much to each and every one of you. I love you guys :)

Currently Julep is hosting a giveaway of ALL 60 of their nail lacquers!

First I'd like to thank everyone who entered my 200 Follower Giveaway. It was amazing to see all the suggestions and encouragement from my readers, and the amount of entries blew me away! Over 160 people entered, and with the extra entry options there were 245 entries total. That is awesome - again, thanks so much :)

Now I'm sure all you want to see is the winner's name, right?

First off, I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of my followers. It makes me so happy every time I see someone new has started to read my little blog :) I have had so much fun writing and reviewing things for you girls! My collection has grown by about 100 polishes since starting this blog, and I have learned so much about nails and polishes. So thanks again, and now let's take about the prize!

I will be giving away one Brand New Deborah Lippmann Celeb Set! It's a beautiful boxed set of 4 Lippmann polishes plus one bottle of Hard Rock Base & Top Coat.

Before I announce the winner, I just want to say thank you to each and every person who follows this blog and who entered the giveaway. It's crazy to think that I have over 100 more followers than I did when this giveaway opened. I love writing this blog and it means so much that you all like it :)

Here is the stack of entries! I spent a few hours validating them all, and wrote every entry down on index cards. Here is the big stack of cards.

I shuffled all of them super well and picked one out...

I emailed Liz already. She has 48 hours to respond, or I will pick a second winner. Congratulations, Liz! Liz also runs a great blog called Liquid Jelly; go check it out!

Also, that July 4th water marble will be coming up with better pictures soon :) Thanks again for following and showing interest in my blog, everyone.

The giveaway closes JUNE 25th, which is tomorrow. Please get your entries in ASAP. I am giving away $OPI nail pads, plus some beautiful polishes. Golden Rose Care + Strong Red Glitter, OPI Simply Smash-ing, MAC Studded Matte, and China Glaze GR8.

Please see the original giveaway page to enter!

Good luck! :)

Edit 6/25/11: THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

Here are some current giveaways I am entering.

First is You Nailed It!'s Deborah Lippman giveaway. The exact color is going to be a surprise, so I just threw in a picture of the famous Across the Universe.

Some of my favorite blogs have giveaways going on right now. I highly recommend entering, because they have some great prizes.

Ria from Serious Stuff About Lif...Oooh shiny! is having a giveaway to celebrate her (almost) 1 year blogiversary. She's a month away. The prizes include MAC and NYX lipsticks and Korres polishes, plus she's letting you pick what colors you get. Also, look at the adorable owl she's using to represent the giveaway. One of the options for an extra entry is to give it a name :) I think that is a pretty cute idea, and I chose Belinda. She looks like a Belinda to me.

The PolishAholic is also celebrating a one-year blogiversary. She has some great prizes, including the entire Nicole by OPI Justin Bieber collection and the entire OPI Texas collection. She is also giving away Misa polishes, including Genie in this Bottle, a personal lemming. Here's a picture of another grouping of polishes up for grabs:
